Finding any Nintendo Switch stock in the US has been an almighty challenge over the last couple of months. Good news, then! Following on from last month’s GameStop restock, Best Buy is now taking orders for Nintendo Switch consoles in both Neon and Grey.
These aren’t the ridiculously dubbed the Nintendo Switch Gamer Bundles we saw before, but just the console by itself. Thankfully, Best Buy has stuck to the recommended price too, so both colours are available for $299.99.
At this standard price, we expect that they’re going to sell out extremely quickly. Hopefully, you’re able to get one before the scalpers and resellers are all over it and screwing over legitimate buyers.
As I said above, the last Nintendo Switch stock we saw prior to this was those jam-packed Gamer bundles at GameStop. Even though they had a hefty price tag, they came with a selection of the console’s top games and the much-loved Switch Pro controller. Expensive, but more than enough to get you started with your new console! If you’ve been desperately seeking one for a while now, you might want to grab it while you can.
That said, Nintendo has apparently got back to pre-COVID production levels just recently, according to a statement from a representative to CareerConnection. That means we could start seeing Nintendo Switch stock more widely available at all the other usual retailers. Perhaps one of them will just be selling the console on its own or pairing it just a single game to keep the price more reasonable.
There have been Nintendo Switch stock issues since the end of 2019. It was a massively popular item over Black Friday and Christmas, and Nintendo has struggled to keep up with demand in early 2020. It’s something that was only exacerbated further by the COVID-19 pandemic, as supply chains were disrupted and people were looking for more home entertainment.
